FOX News reported on Sunday morning that Rod Rosenstein and Bill Barr are meeting this morning at the Department of Justice. The Mueller report may be released later today.
Democrats are already demanding every testimony and all information from the two year harassment and attempted coup of the Trump administration.
By US law the innocent victims of the criminal investigation should be protected from disclosure. Democrats want all of the information so they can continue their smear campaign against this administration.

DeleteOver 7000 chemicals are released by smoking. This is done through combustion. As vaping does not have combustion, it does not have anywhere near the harm of cigarettes.
Public Health England study rates vaping as 95% safer than smoking. So safer, not safe.
Also vaping can be done with or without nicotine. Although safety of nicotine shows that it is not all that harmful and may lead to heart disease but are not sure. Its harm is it is highly addictive. However, addiction to cigarettes are far worse because some of the other chemicals are addictive as well. So it is actually easier to quit vaping.
Phillip Morris has a stake in heated tobacco, which also negates combustion. That is their future.
So called adults are still sucking on a substitute teat. How about helping humanity find themselves not supplying a Dutch.

DeleteJohn, not everyone becomes a health basket case by being a smoker. I smoked for 45 years and only recently stopped. Started at age 11. I never took a single day off for any health related issue. In fact during my heaviest smoking period I worked harder than any other time in my life.
I also wonder, if we call smokers saddos, then why is someone who craves sugar and becomes overweight also not a saddo? Or someone that has a glass of wine each evening with dinner not a saddo? Someone who gambles also not a saddo? They all follow the same pattern, just different substances.
I recall we all had a very similar conversation on this topic some time ago. When you John, made a comment about how offensive smokers were to you. I was a smoker at that time and I agreed with you because I did find the smell of cigarettes offensive even as a smoker. I suggested at that time that it should be banned. Cannauzzie pulled me up when I made that comment, which I am very pleased he did. I realised that what I suggested about banning the products was me actually wishing to give my power away to someone else to deal with this addiction because I did not feel I could do it for myself. How's that for sheeple thinking? Not too good. So I then realised I was the only one who could take control of this matter and I made that choice. This is what I love about these types of conversations, I gain understanding I may never have gained without them.
The Dems are stupid: by demanding transparency in the Mueller report, they will have no defence against declassification of the FISC applications, which will show what they have been up to.

DeleteI regularly do 140 on the Zurich run once I get clear of French radar traps. In build up areas I agree, but Freeways mean just that. Butt out, we have schedules to meet. Speed is rarely the issue, poor drivers are.
DeleteIn practically every accident speed will be determined to be a contributing factor. This makes the stats unreliable.
If someone attempts to merge onto a freeway at below traffic speed and causes an accident, speed will be a contributing factor. It is not excessive speed, nor speeding, but the stats will be read that way.
All though not fully accurate representation and rather extremely simplified, you could look at it this way. If two vehicles are not moving, then there can never be an impact. So movement will always be a contributing factor.
In my experience, most accidents causes are from poor driving habits or inexperience. Rarely is speed the determining factor.
Speed is a major factor when accidents occur due to poor road conditions (ie:winter/ice), but rarely is the posted speed limit exceeded in these cases. This falls back to poor driving habits and inexperience.

DeleteI would agree. Most collisions are caused by drivers that commit a violation that law enforcement rarely enforces. Speed violations are simple to enforce; the radar does all the work. Most police officers do not know anything about violations other than speed, traffic signals and stop signs. If more officers were required to turn in "contact" records (tickets or written warnings) touching on violations such as (not all inclusive) failing to yield, improper turns, and inattention to driving, collision rates would drop dramatically. But it isn't about public safety anymore...it's a revenue source for the local, county, or state entities.

I would mostly agree, that is why there is such wide spread enforcement being done without the human contact. Like photo radar and such. A cash cow.
Typically what is most commonly done is that drivers are thrown out on the roads with little to no expertise. Then are educated and trained through punishment.
Governments have no interest in how society is best served. They are tyrannical in nature and require a never ending increased coffer of funds on which to expand. Rats in mazes and treadmills is what we are. Punished if we go somewhere in the maze they do not want us to go. Watch our response to see if we learn or revolt. As they do it to us individually (it seems), we learn.
Pigs with Radar scanners on bridges over motorways cause bottling of traffic and accidents. Many times I have to drive through confused vehicles swerving everywhere to avoid mindless revenue swine standing above bridges revenue collecting, causing dangerous chaos and panic below. As a regular driver, be assured, you soon find all too many drivers in serious pile ups are too thick to switch lanes fast, adjust speed or fast steer though gaps. Mindless morons just keep driving into the pile ups ahead.

ReplyDeleteIt's truly insane. We took our child into an emergency clinic in Arizona because of pains in his stomach. We got there and they wanted to drug him and prep him in the event they had to remove his appendix or gallbladder at 6 years old. This before any tests had been conducted. While there for an hour he said his pain stopped. We decided to take him home and monitor. They made us sign death waivers and all kinds of BS. Turns out he had gas and had to take big dump when we got home. An hour later he was running around like crazed kid again. The medical mafia in this country is obscene the way they treat patients and parents that don't bend to their will. Everyone of the officers and members of CPS should have their children placed in fosters homes until they can be ruled not insane!

Currencies from South Africa’s rand to Brazil’s real are witnessing a spike in their expected volatility, signaling concern they may weaken the most along with the Turkish lira going into May.
