What is the secret Bilderberg group?

OWoN: For those spellbound by its secrecy rules, which simply protects the anonymity of attendees, we are supplying you all a further overview to help. Albeit, as stated many times, it is just a private consultative group and no more. Ideas are debated and opinions lobbied. It helps leaders of Industry, Commerce and Politics discuss a wide series of agendas. It suffers from way too much conspiracy theory wrong image profiling.

What is the secret Bilderberg group?

Bilderberg: a yearly meeting of the elites which electrifies the conspiracy world with its secrecy policy

The annual Bilderberg conference is due to be held in Telfs-Buchen, Austria, over the next four days.

What is Bilderberg anyway?

One of the more outlandish theories about the group holds that it is run by a race of humanoid creatures descended from lizards.

Others have claimed it controls the US Republican Party, the European Union, and wants to create a Fourth Reich.

The group itself claims to have been grown out of high-minded concerns that Europe and the US were not working together on "issues of common interest".

Founders included Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands, Polish politician Jozef Retinger, and former Labour deputy leader Denis Healey.

The first conference took place in Oosterbeek, Netherlands, in May 1954.

How does it work?

Two illustrious individuals from each of the 18 countries are on the steering committee that organises the annual jamborees, serving four-year renewable terms.

The costs of a "small secretariat" are met "wholly by private subscription", according to the group's official website, while the bill for the conference itself is taken care of by the committee members from the host country.

Who gets to go to the sessions?

The steering committee is responsible for choosing an invite list of between 120 and 150 senior figures from politics, industry, finance, academia and the media.

Chancellor George Osborne, a regular attendee, is on the roll of honour again this year. His former counterpart, Ed Balls, has also been asked despite humiliatingly losing his Commons seat at the election.

They will mix with other famous names including former MI6 chief Sir John Sawers, Dutch PM Mark Rutte, Google boss Eric Schmidt, and Nato secretary general Jens Stoltenberg.

What are they going to talk about?

A wide range of weighty topics are on the agenda: Greece, Iran, the Middle East, Nato, Russia, terrorism, the United Kingdom, the US and US elections.

But do not expect to hear what their conclusions are. The events are held under Chatham House Rules, meaning that while participants can use the information received, comments and views should not be publicly attributed to any individual.

No minutes are taken of meetings, and no resolutions are proposed.

• Bilderberg: What will Masters of the Universe discuss?

The key topics for discussion this year include:

  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Cybersecurity
  • Chemical weapon threats
  • Current economic issues
  • European strategy
  • Globalisation
  • Greece
  • Iran
  • Middle East
  • NATO
  • Russia
  • United Kingdom
  • USA
  • US elections

Although the topics are vague, it is thought that the session on the UK will be about the European referendum.

  1. Canauzzie I'm not sure who writes the red text for these so I'll just address this to OWoN.

Are we being trolled? I'll take it point by point.

"Ideas are debated and opinions lobbied. It helps leaders of Industry, Commerce and Politics discuss a wide series of agendas."
Like the TPP and other secretive and treasonous trade agreements that our elected representatives are not allowed to talk about until 5 years after being signed into law? 'Agendas' - did y'all catch that word??

Publisher: The Telegraph. LOL. Murdoch. Zio.

"an invite list of between 120 and 150 senior figures from politics, industry, finance, academia and the media"
ie all industries controlled by zionazis spoken of elsewhere on OWoN.

"They will mix with other famous names including former MI6 chief Sir John Sawers, Dutch PM Mark Rutte, Google boss Eric Schmidt, and Nato secretary general Jens Stoltenberg."
    Say no more.

"A wide range of weighty topics are on the agenda: Greece, Iran, the Middle East, Nato, Russia, terrorism, the United Kingdom, the US and US elections."
Hmm.. US elections. You mean the democratic thing? ie 'deciding the next POTUS'

I can't believe that such a group of people resist the opportunity to decide how to carve up the human market and control public opinion and action. Because that is what companies do by law. If the simplest companies do this, impelled by Corporation Act in Oz and the equivalent in other jurisdictions, why would multinats settle for anything else? We all know how Congress is bought. How could it possibly be different here? It'd make it the only cabal-free globalist get-together on the planet.

I'd love to be wrong. In which case let them get behind John.

  2. I will answer here and also copy it to your other comment.

I think where the confusion lies is 'how much influence they have'. Bilderbergers are hyped as being the 'World Changers and Makers' and they are not. Black Nobility holds the reins and then there are 3 tiers under them before you even get to the Bilderbergers. Which they are listed as think tanks. They may have recommendations and ideas, but no real power to impose them.

Liken it to ants. They construct and such but are in no way as powerful or influential on their world as you are.

    1. By the way, the red text is supplied by who submits the article, mostly. Some articles are submitted by just our readership in which case we generate the OWoN statement. All are edited by me.

Many confuse this site as 'John's Blog'. It is not. It belongs to all of you. As long as you all keep coming, reading and conversing the vast array of subject matter, I will be here for you. Keeping OWoN maintained, clean and fresh, free of charge or requests for donations. For over 2 years it has been this way and there has been no reason to change it.
