OWoN: This has been breaking all week now. It's horrific.

If true then this is treason.

Former US lawmaker Cynthia McKinney says every candidate for Congress has to sign a pledge to vote for supporting the military superiority of Israel.

“Every candidate for Congress at that time had a pledge. They were given a pledge to sign … that had Jerusalem as the capital city,” McKinney said in an interview with Press TV on Sunday.

“You make a commitment that you would vote to support the military superiority of Israel that the economic assistant that Israel wants that you would vote to provide that,” she added.

McKinney said that if a candidate does not sign the pledge or perform accordingly, “then you do not get money to run your campaign.”

The former Congresswoman said that after she made the pledge issue public “the tactic changed.”

“But this is what is done for 535 members of the United States Congress, 100 senators and 435 members of the House of Representatives have to now write a paragraph which basically says the same thing.”

He comments came as US President Barack Obama vowed to sustain Israel’s military superiority over its neighbors at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee’s (AIPAC) annual gathering on Sunday.

“We (the US) will maintain Israel’s qualitative military edge”… “We have increased military financing to record levels,” Obama said.

  1. Obama: ‘The American People WANT Me to Sign All These Executive Orders’

Really? The American people don’t want the president of the United States to follow the Constitution?

Strange, coming from someone who liked to refer to himself as a “constitutional law professor” back in the day on the campaign trail. Flashback to a fundraiser in March 2007 where Obama found it within himself to say, “I was a constitutional law professor, which means unlike the current president I actually respect the Constitution.”

The most infuriating thing about Obama saying these things isn’t even that he would excuse his overreach by pushing it off on the American citizens, but that he is even bothering to act like he has half a damn clue what the American people want or expect him to do at this point, or that he would muster up the strength to pretend to care even if he did.

But wait! I just remembered that corporations are people, too! So maybe those were the “American people” Obama was referring to in his statement.

But remember the interview (the link is very hard to find now, if it hasn't been scrubbed altogether) Where the fraud-in-chief says "I am dismayed at what the Constitution does not allow the government to do to the people"

  3. Our Congress are a bunch of blackmailed robots...they are not doing the job the American people hired them to do. This next voting round I definitely will be representing the mail in ballot and I am telling all my friends to do the same.

These folks need to be held accountable to the people as they were hired to represent...changed, I don't think I want the type of change they are foisting upon us...

DS, yes; O wants to change the Constitution...I did read that article.
Thanks for the reminder...I did not vote for this!
